Resurgam

Resurgam (Latin: I shall rise again) is a five piece installation comprising of Aviary, Doors of Perception, African Time, Stills From The Film That Was Never Made and 'Why didn't you stay?'

Resurgam explored the psychology of change in the life of a person coping with the loss of a loved one. The struggles of cause and effect, denial, idealism and natural processions are related through the subject, object and environment paradigm. The pieces in Resurgam were conceptualised from experiments with photography, fibre sculpture and industrial design processes.

This installation invites you to challenge your perception of normalcy and fantasy.
